Where to find Query Fanouts in Rankshift?
Written By Rankshift
Rankshift captures query fanouts for ChatGPT and Perplexity. You can find them in two places: inside an individual response and in the prompt-level overview table.
Inside a response
The most detailed view of fanout queries is available when you open an individual AI response.
Go to Monitoring > Visibility > Prompts in the sidebar
Click on a prompt to see its responses
Open a response from ChatGPT or Perplexity
Scroll down to the Fanout Queries section
In the prompt overview table
You can also see fanout data at the prompt level without opening individual responses.
Go to Monitoring > Visibility > Prompts> Fanout Queries
In the prompt list, the fanout queries tab shows a summary per prompt Here you'll see the full list of sub-queries the model generated for that specific response, along with:
# β> the number of times that fanout query appeared
% β >the percentage share of that query across all fanouts for this prompt
π‘ Use the search and filter options on the Fanout Queries tab to quickly find specific keywords or patterns across all your fanouts.
