Step-by-step setup to connect the Rankshift MCP server to Claude and ChatGPT, using OAuth in 5 minutes.

MCP + Claude

  1. Go to Claude

  2. Open Customize → Connectors

  3. Click the + button to add a connector

  4. Select Add custom connector

  5. Fill in the details:

    Name: Rankshift

    URL: https://mcp.rankshift.ai/mcp

  6. Click Connect → Authorize

✅ Test your connection

  • Prompt: What can the Rankshift MCP do?

MCP + ChatGPT

  1. Go to chatgpt.com

  2. Click More → Apps → then the gear icon (top right)

  3. Open Advanced settings

  4. Enable Developer mode → click Create app

  5. Fill in the details:

    Name: Rankshift

    URL: https://mcp.rankshift.ai/mcp

  6. Click Create
